It's hot as hell and I'll complain if I want to
It's May and we're suffering a couple of days with high temperatures at or near 38C. These things can happen. (Tomorrow is forecast for a significant drop, around 27C, thank goodness.) It's the sort of thing that makes one a bit cross. This isn't Arizona, a land of nonbelievers. They deserve to be punished for their foolishness. Unfortunately, we all live on the same planet and copping a self-righteous attitude is useless.

38C? In May? Eek.
It's been around 15C here, 7C at nights. A bit cooler than usual for the time of year, but I'm not complaining - long may the cool weather continue.
