Still Hanging Out in California

This alternative student housing was built in 1972 on the UC Davis campus. The design was more political than practical. My generation had a great chance to really make a difference in the world. Too much energy was wasted on silly junk like this.

Late last night and early this morning, we got rain. It was enough to completely wet the ground and create puddles. This time of year it's not quite a miracle but it feels like it. The local farmers with wheat ripening probably weren't as happy as us. By noon the sun came out and things dried out but there were still lovely fat clouds in the sky. You can see a drop still clinging to this bulb.
